Skinner sighed softly. She looked at him, refusing to move.
"Alright....let's try this again," she said after a few moments. "I'm Skinner. Skinner Jones, and you are?" She moved her hand on his chest and offered it for a handshake. Sawyer sighed and looked down at the sand.
"I'm Sawyer." He begrudgingly said. He didn't really like second chances, but the rescue boats would be here soon, so he thought it didn't matter as much here. "Nice to meet you."

Skinner frowned a bit. "It doesn't work if you're not into it," she said, leaning forward a bit. "But just a hint."
She sighed, dropping her hand, but still not moving. She wasn't letting this man, no this man-boy, walking away like that. It wasnt' in her nature.

"Fine." Sawyer said and tilted his head to the side a little. "Hi there. My name's Sawyer. Its very nice to meet you." he said sarcastically.

Skinner looked at him again, raising a brow.
"What have I done to you?!" she asked, heaving an exasperated breath from her chest. He was honestly beginning to grind her nerves.

"Look, I'm sorry." Sawyer said. "But I just cant deal with this right now. I just want to get home OK?" Sawyer said, walking off in a huff.

"You think we all don't!" she shouted, still following him. "You think we all don't want to get home! I feel like some punished woman for all this, I mean honestly. I'm running and can't get to the d*mn finish line and I can't get back to my life, my real life and all of this, all my memories are...gah!" Her words were rushed and she bit her lip, holding back the waves of angered tears.
"It's ridiculous!"

"Look, I'm not the one causing these problems OK!" Sawyer said. "So get off my back with them." Sawyer said, walking over to one of the survivors sitting on some of the fuselage. "You got a cigarette?" Sawyer asked the man.

"You got a cigarette?" a man said, walking up to him, shortly followed by a woman shouting at him.
"Sorry, no" Goodwin replied, leaving the two to talk. They kind of reminded him of how and Harper had been talking these last few months.

Skinner swallowed, hating that feeling. That feeling that she'd had for the past year constantly. It made her shudder and tremble with anger. She stepped in front of him again, glaring at him. He'd even said the same thing Erik siad once; 'I'm not the one causing these problems, ok?' God she hated that man.
"What did you say?" she demanded.

"What did you say?" she demanded.
"I said get off my back with your d*mn problems! There not my problem" Sawyer said. "I'm outta here" he said, walking towards the treeline. He noticed an axe from the wreckage on the ground. He walked over and took it and decided to go and get some firewood.

"No, NO!" shouted Skinner. She glared at him, walking near him and grasping his arm tightly, forcing him to look at her.
"What exactly did you say," she demanded, her teeth grinding and her eyes glowing with rather hatred and aggravation. Things that weren't like Skinner, at least not normally. But she'd gone beyond normal at this point and was pretty d**ned insane.

Skinner glared at him fro a moment, but then sunk against a nearby tree. She ran her fingers through her hari, her face contorting into agony. Those words, those phrases. She felt her bruises through her shirt and her eyes protested against her will, causing salty drops to trail her face.
"That's what I thought you said," she whispered, looking at the ground.

"Look, I'm sorry." Sawyer said, actually meaning it for once. "But whatever they hell you're going through has nothin' to do with me. And you takin' it out on me ain't gonna solve it."

Skinner looked up at him, and swallowed, wiping her face.
"It doesn't matter. Thanks for apologizing." She sat on the ground, on the sand and closed her eyes, wishing the memories would disappear and knowing they wouldn't. She didnt' even have the gumption to wipe her face, which wouldn't have helped anyway. Part of her wanted to cry out those broken parts, but another wanted to hit herself for tearing up in front of..well anyone.
