Isabelle sat down against one of the many trees in the seemingly endless jungle that covered the island. She could feel the dirt underneath her and her bare feet were covered in it. She felt dirty and tired like she had never felt before. Her eyes drooped a little while she could feel the pounding of her limbs. She guessed her exhaustion was from lack of sleep. She hadn't been able to sleep since the crash. She reached her hand up to feel the bruise that covered half her forhead and reached up past her hair line. It had caused her pain and made her headaches all the worse. She had got it from the crash and it had started to heal, but during the strange kidnappings she had gotten her head hit again and now it would give her no rest.
She wondered if it was a bad thing but due to their situation she had not really bothered anyone by asking. She dismissed it as a temporary discomfort. Now as she leaned against the tree that stretched above her with seemingly no end she looked over her condition. Apart from the head wound she was in pretty good condition for an airplane crash surviver. Just a few scrapes and a bit of sunburn on her exposed shoulders. She wore a tan tank top with a ripped once white skirt. it was now more of a light grey. She set her head back to lean against the tree trying to recall the events of the kidnapping. Just flashes of fire, screaming, and someone hitting her with a branch. Ouch.

Wondering in the jungle lugging around a small guitar she had found on the beach, she walked. A Teenage girl only about 17 years old, she was a petite figure with short brown hair and blue eyes. Her sweatshirt was tied around her waist exposing her "Invader Zim" T-shirt, it was one of her favorite shows but it went off the Air.
She looked at the guitar in her hands it looked almost exactly like the one she used to play back in Australia, not that anyone really cared much about it. She was really good at it too. The guitar was more for a child, kind of like the one she saw when she was in elementary school. Not looking anywhere except for the guitar in her hands she moved a branch out of her way.
She heard someone say, that caught her attention almost immediately. She looked to where the branch had hit and noticed another girl.
"Sorry" Hope said quietly.

So that had happened just now. Isabelle looked up quizzicly and caught sight of the teenager standing in front of her. She recognized her vaguely. She felt her head and she had a brand new cut on her cheek. She didn't care at least it had missed her bruise. She also was reminded of how she had been hit the night before. only that had been on purpose. Wow, Isabelle just couldn't catch a break.
"It's ok. I've dealt with worse. I'm Isabelle by the way, but just call me Izzy or Belle or Bells. I think since we are all stuck here we can drop the formalities."
She surprised herself with her own statement. Usualy she was not one to talk much and she was considered shy but this teen wasn't very threatening and she was to exhausted to deal with shyness at the moment. It's amazing how a plane crash can change someone. Wait. That makes no sense... Of course a plane crash can change people! She thought to herself. The fuzzyness in her mind was causing her to be illogical. She decided that instead of argueing with herself she was going to focus on the girl.
"And you are?"
She asked curiously. She hadn't really talked to to many people since she had awaken after the crash. She had actualy decided to be miserable and sulky in general. her only helpful action was to help mr.Eko with the bodies. That had been an experience she hoped to never have to go though again. Somehow she didn't think she would be that lucky.

"Just call me shadow" Hope answered.
The girl never reveiled her real name when meeting new people. She was alwas that darkness created when light hits solid objects. The thing that no one pays attention too yup there you have Shadow.
Hope looked at the girl who now had a cut on her face from the branch, hope figited emarressed at what she had done. She snapped out of it.
She still had the guitar in her hand. Ads she sat down.
"What are you in for?" Hope asked in her natural aussie accent.

"In for? I was flying to LA to get a connecting flight home. I was in Sydney for a competition."
She said dully with hardly any feeling in her voice. Thinking of hom made her think of Edward and she didn't want that right now. Her brother was probably worried sick and she hated to think of him like that.
"What about you?"
She said. She figured the girl's name was probably not actualy Shadow but to each their own. She rubbed her temples with both hands to clear her head and sighed in relief as her headache that had been there all morning slowly subsided a bit.
She closed her eyes but her ears remained focused on all the other girl's movements. After the events of the kidnappings she didn't exactly trust everyone.

"I was going to live with my Aunt in LA" Hope said right to the point. "Long story"
It was a long story from the time she was born she almost killed her mother, to what her childhood was like to her mother's death and finally her becoming "Shadow". It was in fact a long story and the only way to understand it is by telling someone about it. She hated talking about her past, heck the girl hated her life up until now.
Hope noticed the girl rubbing her head.
"You should get a drink, there are ways we can turn ocean water into drinking water, we havee to keep hydrated in a place like this" She said.
Hope knew some stuff about nature and thought that maybe it could help. She then sat down and held the guitar on her lap and started playing a tune, not a reconisable one but it still sounded really good.

"Drink? I wish I could have one, but not the kind your talking about."
She thought of sitting on her balcony back home and waiting while her twin fixed drinks. They would probably have a few friends over and there would be music playing softly in the backround. Then as people chatted around her Isabelle would lean back and let the dying sun wash over her. Out would come her brother carrying the drinks and telling anyone who would listen happy hour should be all day long. Amid the few laughs he would hand her the drink and sit beside her.
That's where Isabelle should be right now. She should be at happy hour. Now her time all blurred together. Hour upon hour. And yet no happy to be found.
"You play well."
She said slightly changing her trail of thoughts. She listened to the tune but didn't recognize it. It was nice though. Somthing that if she heard back at home she would record so she could dance to it. She listened to the tune and sighed softly.

The teen girl continued playing the song.
"Thanks I had always wanted to be in a band" Hope said.
She plucked the strings so lightly yet music came out. Although the guitar was a child's size it still worked as a normal guitar. She continued humming and playing. She thought of what it would be like if she really was a rockstar. The colored lights, the stage, a bunch of screaming fans shouting her name. And it was her name they were shouting not the rest of the band. "Shadow Shadow Shadow"
And there she was standing on stage, wearing her normal crative rocking clothes, with diesd hair and make up. She saw her self with an awesome guitar in her hands, electric.

"Band? That's cool. I've always been a dancer. You can say I am musical instrument challenged. I can't even pick out the easiest melodies on the piano."
She smiled weakly and picked herself up with a bit of effort. She traced her feet on the ground and let the pick out a small pattern to the beat of the music. She twirled gracefuly and hummed along. She flowed slowly into each step never overexagerating the movements yet defining each one.
"It's nice..."
She said softly. Her feet made light padding noises on the ground and her head although acheing never moved from it's position. She never varied from the countless steps and her precision was flawless. But then she felt a wave of nausia and placed her foot to much to the left. She slipped on an ill placed rock and felt herself tumble down into a heap. She sat up and sheepishly smiled.
"Oh well. Probably not the best idea..."

(OOC: I apologize for my writer's block)
"It's alright" Hope plucked the last string to the song. "Your not the only one it takes years of practice though, I've only been playing since I was eleven"
Hope's foot had fallen asleep, she went to stand up and a sharp tingling sensation went through her foot and body, Hope cringed.
"Bloody hell" she exclaimed. It wasn't long before it passed.

"You ok?"
She asked her voice hardly audible. She was hoarse from lack of water but didn't really feel like getting up to get more at the moment. She smiled up at Shadow halfheartedly.
"Try 12 years of practice. I wanted to be a dancer since i was a little girl. My parents finaly gave in and let me take lessons. My brother..."
She trailed off for a moment.
"... He always said to do whatever made me happy."
She grinned at the happy memories and then grimiced in a shock of pain. Her bottum lip had cracked from being dry. She blamed the sun. Her arguement wouldn't hold up very well now since she as in shade but she refused to drink to much of the limited water supply. ((ooc: No prob.))

"It's just that weird tingly feeling you get when you move a body part that had fallen asleep." Hope answered.
Hope's mouth was a bit dry too she had been so caught up in playing the guitar that she completely forgot how hot it was outside. The tingling feeling from her foot got her out of "The Zone" as some would call it. She then listened to Belle talk and noticed that she too was thirsty.
"I have a water bottle in my bag but there's not much in it, i got the water on the plane i had a few but now only one is left and its onl;y about half full" Hope mumbled.

"Save the water. I can go another few hours. We should conserve it wisely seeing as we have no other water source."
She smiled and looked around almost expecting a huge fountain to spring up out of nowhere. She figured it was interesting how everything on the island was so green yet she could not see any water scource but the ocean and occasional rain. She also didn't realize how much people take water for granted. You never realize how important things are untill your stranded on some hellish island with strange people and things that attack in the middle of the night they're gone.
"Maybe we should look for some wtaer. It's going to be necessary in the long run. Who knows when it will rain..."

(Sry Brain not working tonight)
"It could rain now, i guess, i've noticed it happening" Hope said.
At that moment she felt s drop of water on her child-like head. Hope looked up at the trees a few more drops came down but it wasn't much.
"Coincedence" Hope Shrugged it off.

(It's ok, I'm haveing writers block as well...)
"Well a very welcome coincidence."
Isabelle said happily. She turned her own head up to catch a few drops of rain on her face. They felt cool and refreshing on her skin and she managed to get up and stand again. She held out her hands for a few seconds before looking around her. She spotted a very large leaf and pulled it of it's stalk. She held it up in a bowl shape to catch rain and watched it slowly congeal.
"Now I just have to wait for this to slowly fill... very slowly."
