So it happened. It took a very long time, but she finally ran out of water. The worst part was the only place to re-fill now was at the caves. That involved walking, it was more of a hike. Bree hates physical exercise with a passion, she used to pay her gym teacher to let her out of class, and then to get a good grade...well she didn't really like to think about that. The point is it was not Aubree's cup of tea walking to the caves. She also didn't really know how to get there, so posed more of a problem. Someone should have made signs or something, maybe she should do it on the way back. But then again she is most likely the only person who didn't know where it was. Once again another example for the fact that no one tells her anything.
Maybe she should talk to people more, but there all so old, and boreing, and so serious. She didn't want to talk about life back home, or how there all gonna die, things like that tend to make people a little upset, which she wasn't really in the mood for. To find the caves Aubree was left with having to fallow footprints and what might be the sound of people. Her eyes were good and eventually she found what might have been a path. There after what felt like hours, and clutching a stitch in her side she found it.
Aubree passed a few people sitting and talking, or cooking food, things like that, normal island life stuff. She knelt down by the spring, only to bounce back up again with pain shot up her leg. Bree looked down and saw a spider. Then noticed it had bitten her in her knee. "Bad spider" She scolded like it could hear her, and she gently kicked it out of her way. It then occurred that spider bits can kill people, she might die. Out of all the things to die from out here and she picked spider bite, thats just lame. She sighed and tried one more time to fill her bottle. It worked. Aubree put it to her mouth and chugged half of it. Then she poured some on the killer spider bite, which only made it sting. "damn" She said and grabbed it with her hand.

Leaning against a random tree, Charlie tried to catch his breath. He had to admit, he was out of shape. If he had known that they were going to crash on a deserted island, he might have tried exercising a bit. It was about 3 minutes to the caves in which Charlie planned on getting some water. He felt like an old man, having to pause every now and then, so he could refresh himself. Heck, he wasn't going to let anyone know how bad in shape he was.
A woman walked along the path, and Charlie quickly straightened up pretending to look interested in the tree he was leaning on. After she left, he quickly followed after her since he wasn't quite sure on where to go. The path was easy to follow though, and soon enough he entered the cave area. Glancing around, a small grin appeared on his face at the sight of the water source.
Charlie unscrewed his bashed up water bottle. Noticing one of the younger girls there, she seemed to be bothered by something. And she was pouring water onto her knee? Charlie shifted his weight onto his right foot as he nosily tried to see what she was doing. "Ooh, those caterpillars can be feisty sometimes" He joked with a grin. It was a pretty lame joke though, he knew her bite was from some sort of insect.

Aubree was still in the middle of deciding whether it would be better to just chop her leg off know and get it over with. Or too wait until the poison really took hold of her and then she could have some big dramatic scene. Some might find it strange that she automatically jumps to the most direr situation for something so little, but you know to extreme happens, and she would much rather have a good story to tell from the pain the was really starting to bother, then it just be a spider. God, and people wonder why she hates the outdoors
Then in the middle of her thoughts she heard a voice and looked behind her. She just glanced back for a second because it put her head at a funny angle, kinda like trying to look through her armpit. But the face she saw made her her hop around to get a better look. She had seen him before, and not from the island...where had she seen him. Did he go to her school, he didn't look that old. But then again she would have remembered the accent, unless they never talked.
Bree pushed that the back of her head to answer him. "They really can be." She said playing along for a second, but then focused again. "It was a spider actually. A big one...with fangs." She might have been over playing a little bit with the fangs part, but everyone loves a good fanged spider story. "Do i know you?" She said flatly. She had seen him before she knew it, but it was getting to annoying to figure it out on her own.

Charlie gave her a warm grin once she turned around. He didn't want to scare her off or creep her out. She seemed ok with his presence though, so he relaxed a bit. Glancing at her knee, it seemed perfectly fine from where he was standing. Although not many people could see a spider bite standing far away. He set down his water bottle to the side and took a few steps closer to her. He wondered if the she was with parents or friends. Being stranded on an island not knowing anyone wasn't so great considering he was in that position himself.
Raising his brows, he was surprised a spider had bitten her. "Maybe you'll turn into spidergirl!" He replied with a laugh. He really needed to stop thinking about marvel characters. No one seemed to be interested in playing along with his theories other than Skinner. "Ouch, those bloody fangs will do it every time, I hope we won't have to chop your leg off" He teased but then was afraid he might've gotten her worried now. Thankfully she changed the topic.
Charlie's face brightened up within seconds when she asked him if she had seen him before. "Yeah I'll give you an autograph" He replied feeling full of himself. No one on the island had recognized or believed that he was famous. "So, you listen to Driveshaft" He said more to himself than her and nodded approvingly.

Bree's emotion went from annoyed and somewhat scared to insanely excited. "That would kick ass." She said forgetting that pain and smiling wildly. "Do you think if i let it bit me again I could be The Hulk?" Bree knew it didn't work that way, but The Hulk if totally cooler then Spiderman. Not that she was picky, super powers in general would be fine. Her mother used to read her comics at night as bed time stories. Her favroite was X-man but she up hope of that after that age or 16. She used to have dreams she was Kitty Pride, and still did come to think of it.
Bree wondered what you would call a female Hulk? The Hulktess? No thats lame. She would stick with The Hulk. Much cooler. "They are not chopping off my Spidergirl leg. I am keeping this." Bree said holding onto it protectively. She was keeping it until her powers were in effect or she died, which ever came first. Bree limped over to a rock and sat down. She drank some more of her water and looked at her leg. It was swelling but besides that fine, it still hurt but she could take a little pain. She'd seen all the Highlander Movies and there is nothing more painful.
Aubree raised an eyebrow when her offered an autograph. That wasn't really what she was used too but okay. Then he said Driveshaft and she got it. Bree smiled and nodded. "My mom loves you guys. And i do too, just less." She paused to drink some more water. "Your on my number one playlist on my ipod." She numbered then in order of which ones she'd listen to the most. Besides that one song she didn't really know any others honestly. "No real point of an autograph here though. I mean i can't brag to my friends so."

"No way, you would....you would turn into some kind of madly muscular spider person" Charlie replied thoughtfully. "Like the Spider-Hulk, that's it...and then I can be your apprentice...then of course I may slow you down with my old bones" His voice trailed off once he felt a little disappointed that he wasn't younger. He shrugged it off and followed her over to the rock she sat on.
There was nothing else fitting enough to sit upon, so he planted himself onto the ground beside her. Strangely, he didn't feel all that thirsty anymore. All the talk about superheroes had kept his mind off the fact that they were stranded on a deserted island with no communication to the real world. Charlie tucked his empty water bottle back in his backpack. He figured he would just get some water once he was done talking with her.
A wide grin crossed his face at the thought of fans. It had been a while since he got that feeling of being praised for his music. "Cool....so I guess your top song is You All Everybody?" He asked her. Sadly, that was their only hit song so far. Ever since the bands break up, Charlie had never really thought much of their songs till recently before the crash. "Yeah, I can always give you one once we get off this bloody island" He replied.
