Sadie rushed into the airport as she quickly glanced down at her watch. 11:23 PM. Was she even going to be able to make it? She muttered something quietly to herself, about always being late. She rushed past the most crowded of people, before quickly getting in life to transfer and past through security. She glanced down once again at her watch and breathed a sigh of relief. She might just make it home. She quickly tapped her left foot to the sound of a familiar beat, which made the line go faster by the minutes.
Security was a pain for her. But once it was done, it was finished. Sadie carefully past through other people, as she managed to get onto the airline. She carefully looked out the window, just out of curiosity. She'd been in a plane before, and she always had the same routine towards it. She carefully took out her ticket from her back pocket as she stared at it momentarily. She looked around, as she made her way through the crowded area to her seat. She looked over and noticed that there was only one seat next to her. And it had yet to be filled. She wondered, who was going to sit there? Curiosity struck her. She couldn't wait to find out.

“Sir, you are going to have to throw that drink away” replied the flight attendant to Damion. Damion slurped the rest of the drink and throw it in the trashcan as he was allowed to go on board. He made his way to the airline when his cellphone rang. He answered it as he made his way through the crowded plane. The person on the other end was his boss and he had to answer it.
“Listen, I will be there tomorrow morning, boss and I will look at that video and I’m sure we will catch the guy” as he dodged left and right of people and made his way towards the tail section. “Okay, I get it boss I’m on the plane and I gotta go, you know how these people are with cell phone” Damion said as finally found his seat. He hung up with his boss and turned the cell phone off as he noticed that he was sharing a row with a girl. He smiled and said politely, “Excuse me” as he sqeezed into the little row and flopped down next to her.

She heard a voice coming from over her, as her eyes clearly searched around, trying to focus on whoever spoke. They quickly stopped on a man who happened to be very close to her. She shook her head momentarily, as her thoughts came to a stop and she focused. " Oh, um, sorry about that. " She said quietly, as she tucked her legs underneath herself, as she tried to make enough room for him. She chuckled gently as she tried to lighten the mood. She couldn't help but glance over at him, as she quickly noticed his all around appearance. He was certainly a well mannered man, and his looks definitely helped. She blushed slightly as she looked away, realizing she was staring at him.

Damion looked at the girl that was staring at him. He always had people staring at him and it wasn’t such a big problem. The funny thing was that he was a lab tech at a Crime Lab and no one would have guessed that. He smiled at the girl, “It’s quite alright” as he held out his hand for a friendly shake. “I’m Damion, by the way” He said as he awaited for the girl who was staring at him for her reply. He figured it would be nice to get to know someone on this long flight back to the states.

She blushed slightly. She thought that he might've thought she was some sort of creep or even a pervert. She chuckled slightly to herself, as she glanced down as she noticed his hand a little more held out. She carefully slid her hand with his and gave it a simple friendly shake. " Damion.. She said, as she added a smiled. " Sweet. I'm Sadie. " So maybe, just maybe, this flight could be worth it.

"Nice to met you Sadie" Damion acknowledged as he placed his seatbelt on. It was probably going to be a while before the plane was going to take off, but Damion decided that he would fasten his seatbelt now and not have to wait for it. As he placed his seatbelt on he looked at Sadie. At least this time around he was going to have someone to talk to coming over on Oceanic he had no one to talk to and Damion kind of loved to talk.
Damion smiled and decided to pursue a conversation as he heard everyone on the airplane was doing. The last flight no one talked it was just dull and lifeless. This flight they all seemed to be lifeless and that was good for him. Because he would likely go insane on a twelve hour flight. "So Sadie, you seemed like a tourist what did you do in Aussie?" He asked.

Sadie nodded slightly, before adding a smile. " Nice to meet you too! " She replied. She glanced over, and noticed him placing his seatbelt on. Maybe it would be a good idea if she did the same thing. Well, of course she knew the flight was going to be long, and it was a late flight, but maybe having Damion around, would make it not so horrible.
She readjusted herself into her seat as she buckled up as well. It wouldn't hurt to be prepared, she thought. She yawned quietly, as she knew she should've gotten that extra hour of sleep her body and mind desired at this moment. She heard his voice as she turned her attention once against to him. She nodded slightly at his question, adding a smile. " Well, I am actually.. Um, I was actually here because I need a break. A really big break. " She replied, with a small chuckle. " So, what about you? "

Damion chuckled at her response. He needed a break also, but he had fun with his break it. Diving into the ocean was awesome and seeing one of the seven wonders of the world was just amazing. He smiled, "I was seeing the Great Barrier Reef, I have officially seen all the wonders of the world!" He announced excitedly. It was one of his dreams to see all seven wonders of the world and now he had. Now he had to figure out if he wanted to see the new ones. He wasn't sure though, but he kind of got a head start on the new wonders of the world, because he did see the Sydney Opera House.

Sadie eyes widened at his response. That would've been a great thing to see. But most of her vacation time was spent either in her hotel room, checking up on her team mates and dancers or just hanging around the beach. She would've loved to done something so amazing and a life changing experience. The last exciting thing she'd ever done was wake boarding in Jamaica two years back. She smiled to herself, as she remembered back then. " You're so lucky! I definitely would've loved to see that! " She smiled over at him. She should've embraced Sydney more. Maybe some other time, she thought.

"Yeah, it was awesome" He smiled, "I also went to see the Australia Zoo also, I think an Australia trip without going to seeing the Crocodile Hunter isn't worth it" It was just his opinion and he wasn't sure what Sadie had been doing in Sydney expect that it seemed that she wanted to get away. He looked at her. "Hey if you want I can send you some awesome pictures of the Zoo and the Barrier reef, I took lots of pictures" He actually had a list going on of people wanting to see the pictures. He never had that experience before, but he would most likely via e-mail them to everyone who wanted them.

" Oh, of course it isn't. " She chuckled softly, after replying back at him. He seemed that type who actually preferred being adventurous. She'd consider herself adventurous. From time to time. She smiled slightly, as she shrugged her shoulders before adding. " You're really lucky to have done stuff like that! I practically didn't do much. " She laughed softly, to lighten the mood up. She looked back at him, and smiled a bit more. " Really? You'd do that? " She smiled. " I'd definitely love to see that one! | She nodded. Maybe, after the flight, that might be a way to keep in touch.

Damion smiled. Sadie was an interesting girl to get to know. She seemed very outgoing unlike most of the girls he had the pleasure of meeting. “Sure I would do that, the pictures will most likely sit on my laptop and take up space and that totally isn’t cool, so I like sending them to people or let people use it for graphic design as stock photos.” He smirked, “I know I have a card somewhere, but I’ll give it to you after we land in LA and your welcome to e-mail me anytime or whatever, connecting to people is awesome and my real life friends can be sometimes dull and lifeless” He said with a slight laugh.

" You're right about that one. I think my laptop has way too many things on it. But, I'd still love those pictures!" She replied, with a hint of laughter in her voice. Of course she had alot of personal pictures, included in there, but she liked having pictures around. It didn't really matter to her if it would just take up more space, she'd just look at them and use them once in a while. Of course, that would probably be until her laptop would crash, or something. But that didn't bother her either. " Ooh, so you'd rather have online friends that you'll never get to see? " She grinned, as she replied in a joking matter. " I'm kidding. It's all good, that'll be cool. I don't think my connecting flight leaves until like, 4 hours after we get off. Or something like that. " She nodded.

Damion smiled as he counted how many computers he had in his apartment. "I have a desktop and a laptop." His desktop usually had all the pictures and gaming stuff. His laptop had some pictures, but he used his laptop for graphic design. Once he is finished with all the pictures he sends them to his desktop. "Well, half of my real life friends are in Iraq and the only way to communicate with them is IM or e-mailing." He paused "But I have some friends that aren't in the service, at my job we tend to IM one another alot and it has become an addiction of mine" He paused for a brief moment as she mention a connecting flight. He had a connecting flight, also, it didn't leave for a couple of hours from LAX. "I have a two hour delay. My flight is like just an hour."

She chuckled softly, grinning a bit. " That's probably how much we have in each classes at college. " She cringed to herself once she mentioned college. Ha, that was one of the main reasons she had left, and here she was, talking about it. Nobody had expected Sadie to settle down for college. And they were right, most part. There were those days, she just wanted to quit, she wanted to give up on everything, but inside she knew she should just keep going, and ironically, that's what kept her going, up until these past few weeks. It had gone from normal days, studying here and there and finishing projects at time: to, sleepless nights with drinking 7 cups of coffee, giving essays and projects late, and her world crashed once that came. " Aw.. I hope your friends are gonna be okay.." She sent a small sympathetic smile towards him. She'd never really known anyone who'd gone off to Iraq, but she felt bad for the people who had. She could only imagine it would be difficult. " Well that's not bad. It means we'll get to talk some more. " She laughed softly.
