The Basics
Name: Davie Boyd
Age: 24
Place of Residence: Scotland
Section on the Plane, or not on the plane [Other]:Fuselage
Appearance
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Davie has short brown hair, which he put in blonde highlights. Mostly he styles it so that it spikes up,
Body Type: Despite being short, he isn't skin and bones, on the contrary he is muscular, has very goon muscle tone and definition.
Overall: Davie is 5'7'' and about 80kg, which makes him smaller and lighter than most men, but he isn't a pushover because of it. In fact, he's best described as a little dynamo, fast or fleet of foot.
Throughout his life he has always been short and well built, owning to how much time he spent out of doors. He loves to look after himself, doing plenty of exercise because he enjoys it. Also he likes to stay presentable, normally in smart casual clothes, and never seen without a pair of jeans on. His hair is either spiked up or ruffled, though he has tried many different styles. Davie has angular jawline, but with soft features that add to his boyish charm.
Personality
Likes: Sports are a big thing to Davie, not to be a spectator but participating, as well as any form of exercise. Also he loves his films, making sure to watch a different one each week. And his other vice in life is having a few drinks, he's not an alcoholic by any stretch, but most of his Saturday nights end in some night club or other.
Dislikes: Conflict, such as physical fighting or arguments, as much as possible he keeps away from them and avoids getting into any. Has an aversion to people who believe they are superior to others, or like to order people around, Davie never really appreciated authority. Milk is another pet hate, being lactose intolerant, milk is the root of all evil. And finally, one he wouldn't openly admit to, he still has shivers when he sees spiders, he's not so scared as he used to be of them, but they still get to him.
Strengths: Davie is very approachable and friendly, trying to get on with as many people as possible. He has plenty of common sense and will oblige with a request, if he's able, and asked politely.
Weaknesses: Not overly intelligent, dropped out of school as quick as he could. Davie isn't very good at picking up subtleties, basically unless he is hit over the head with a point made absolutely blunt, he won't get it. Quiet and almost timid when in a big group, he never seems able to get his point across and so he has given up.
Overall Personality:Davie is naturally a mild mannered individual who is always wearing a smile, which can only be described as cheeky. Where possible he loves to laugh and keep his sense of humour, perhaps taking part in the odd practical joke.
Although not very vocal and outspoken in a group, he does enjoy conversation with a couple of people. Being quiet but gregarious, not seeing the need to boast himself up, he is approachable and tries to help out wherever he can. He doesn't enjoy being isolated, nor does he enjoy the company of intellectuals who'd make him look small and foolish.
Background[/u]
Family Members: Davie is particularly close to his mother, Kaitlyn, who still lives in Scotland. His father, Geoffry, now lives in Amsterdam with his Dutch mistress, the pair talk very rarely. And Emily, his older sister, is a public relations operative working in London, and the pair meet up once every three months to catch up.
Reason for Being in Sydney: On a holiday with a group of mates.
Reason for Flying to LA: After being held over in Australia, falsely accused of assault, the Australian police also lost his passport. When cleared a few days later, he was sent back home to Scotland, via LA, to get a connecting flight, courtesy of the Australian government.
Character History: Davie grew up the youngest in a family that didn't really gel together, and being six years younger than his sister he didn't have any play mates as a tot. Being in the house alone with his mother, who looked after him as best she could, he started to become a very quiet kid. When he did get to school, he found all the other children to be too noisy and rambunctious to get along with. He did connect to a very small group of friends, so he wasn't isolated as he grew up in school. However, he also never really clicked with the whole education experience and by 16 he left to become and apprentice.
What he discovered he liked, while trying to amuse himself throughout hi teenage years, was sports. He didn't have to be loud, or aggressive, just being as fast as he was proved a hit with his team mates. And that's what all his energies went on, even up to present day.
Romance hasn't featured much in Davie's life, after watching his father divorce his mother to move to Holland with his girlfriend over ten years younger than him, he figured it wasn't worth it. And he didn't really understand the whole concept of flirting, it was all to subtle for him to pick up on. He doesn't mind talking to girls, having an older sister, he could talk about any topic of conversation and feel at ease, but relationships tend to scare him somewhat.
