ooc: a continuation from Midnight Happenings.
It had been a long night, reaching the tail section crash site around midnight and heading back through the jungle with the kidnapped people they had taken. Not all had gone to plan though; on the way back there had been another girl who wasn't from the tail section crash site. They had taken her as well, not risking having her go back to the fuselage survivors knowing there were other people on the island.
A few minutes later, Richard stopped at the sonar fence. All of the people they had kidnapped had been hooded and tied, some were drugged to make it easier. Richard paused to enter the code in the sonar fence and waited a few moments before stepping past the pillars. He waited until everyone was on the other side before entering the code to activate the fence again before heading for the Barracks. He still had the girl Natanah in hand, but not for long. He wasn't sure what Ben wanted now; he would have to ask him where he wanted to put them, if they were going to take them over to the Hydra station or not.
Reaching the community, Richard paused and put Natanah down. He had bound her hands and legs so she wouldn't be able to run or remove her hood. He glanced at his watch before glancing back at the others to see if they were all back and had no problems. The sun would be rising soon; it had taken them nearly all night.

Ben walked out of his modest home when he heard them approaching. As silent as they could be, Ben always knew when they were coming. He was waiting on the lawn when the first of them got there, dragging those that had been singled out for capture. He nodded approvingly at Richard, and asked how many they had gotten. Ben counted sixteen, but he wanted to be sure. He thought that was one more than they were supposed to have, if he remembered correctly.
"Richard, the Sun's coming up. I want your team to take a break. We have another group ready to transport this group to the Hydra station for their Orientation and... reeducation." Ben walked around looking at the people he had sent in to take care of this mission. They had been good. They had been fast and clean. Ben was proud.
"Good job, everyone!" He said, a bit louder so the group could hear. "Jacob is very proud of the work you've all done today to further his mission. I want you all to take a rest, go to your homes, and be ready for further instructions later in the day."
To Richard, he said quietly, "I want to speak to you, Tom, and Claudia provately about what we plan to do, if you don't mind."

Richard waited for Ben to finish speaking to the group, his expression darkening slightly when he heard his last few words. He wasn't sure why Ben had decided to give Claudia more of a position of 'power', as some may say; he wasn't sure if it was personal feelings or he simply had a lot of trust in the young woman. Richard was not meaning to be openly against his decision, although he would prefer to discuss some things in private with Ben, and not in the presence of Claudia-simply for the reason that he has a few things he prefers to keep to only him and Ben.
"We have one extra," Richard spoke to Ben, turning his gaze back to the group. "She was walking through the jungle on our way back; we couldn't risk having her see us and return to the fuselage survivors." He motioned towards the girl with the hood on who had been drugged, who had been left near the others. He didn't have the exact identity of the extra girl they had taken, although he had an idea on who it was. Alex seemed to have disappeared, though Richard assumed it was because she had not originally been allowed to come that night, although her presence had been helpful. If they were to go another night and kidnap the rest, it would be more dangerous. The survivors would be aware of their presence and should they attempt to kidnap more, they would likely be more prepared to stop them.

Paige groaned through the gag which had appeared on her face. When she went to move her arms to more the offending material should found that they were also tied. The unconsciousness from the electric shock was wearing off; but slowly. Her head was fogged and there was still an awful pain in her neck from where it had hit her. Her brain seemed to of been running that little bit slower than usual, because it took her a good few seconds to realised that her head was bagged. Ok, no more midnight forest walks, what the hell happened to me.
She bunched herself up as if she was just panicked and was going foetal. Really she was trying to bend her arm to get to the back of her belt. She highly doubted they had searched for her knives and even if they had there was a good chance they missed a couple. Trying to keep quiet whilst doing this she picked up on some voices not far away. She’d spent at least 5 minutes around some of the people on the beach and none of the voices sounded familiar.

Ben was still talking to Richard when he noticed movement from the corner of his eye. "That one's awake. Deal with it Richard, if you wouldn't mind too much." Ben had a bit of an edge behind his voice. He knew how Richard felt about Claudia, but he was still unsure of how he himself felt about her. He was treading on very narrow ground with his people already he knew. Anymore pushing could result in them finally pushing back against him, in Jacob pushing back against him.
But Jacob had pushed back. You have cancer.
No. This was a lesson. This was just being taught a lesson for some of the wrong he had already performed in life. The girl in the bag appeared to be young and fit, but more likely than not she was no real danger. She wasn't on the list however, and that was something Ben would not tolerate. She should have just been killed, not brought back here. Why hadn't he just killed her? Well, that would be something he would surely ask in their meeting later.
But really, what they did was his decision. Did Richard think he could make these decisions? Ben thought he may be, and that was something he wouldn't allow. He would just make the call now.
Ben turned to Tom. "Tom, I'd like you to take another group with you. You know who to take, and you know where to take... these people. Hurry, I want you back by morning so we can all meet and debrief." Tom nodded and went about fulfilling the task set to him.
To Richard he said, "Meet me at my house. Eight-thirty. We will discuss what to do next, RIchard."

Nearly cheering with triumph she fished one of the created ceramic blacked from her belt. Flicking it upwards it made pretty short work of the rope. Who every called her crazy for carrying around that many knives had just been proven wrong. They had seriously proved their worth. Now she only had the slight problem that even though she was fully aware she was lying perfectly still on the ground the entire world seemed to be moving around her. She must of been drugged or something, the last thing she hazily remembered was walking through the woods. After that was a black. Even that seemed to be getting a little on the hazy side.
Deciding she would try and decipher her failing memories later, the main priority now was to run and get away from her kidnappers. That was one sentence she never thought she would utter – in her mind or out loud. Given her open position, the fact that her captors where probably watching – she decided to just run for it. Hoping the air of surprise and the fact she could out run almost anyone would fuel her escape – she jumped up and bolted straight for the trees. Even though she was unsteady she did a pretty good job on running straight, the gag and hood thrown to the side the second she could free herself on them.
