Emily thought for a moment about what it must be like in Finland. She couldn't fathom it. The only times she had been out of the country was this trip to Australia and then to Greece when she was sixteen with her family and, of course, Edward. She usually stayed within the country. She tilted her head a little, putting more thought in it. She usually thought that Finland was very cold, but 20 degrees Celsius was equal to 70 degrees Fahrenheit, so it must not be too cold.

Skinner laughed softly, shaking her head. She honestly didn't' mind the heat that much. Heat was her favorite element, having lived in warm places all of her life. "I don't mind the heat actually," she mused. "Living in Aussie and LA all my life I'm used to it."
Suddenly Skinner's face paled and she felt that familiar salty taste that warned her upchuck was approaching. She scrambled to get up, running over to the bushes to empty herself of what little mango she's eaten that day. She sunk to her knees for a moment, swallowing. As she stood, she wobbled a bit and walked over to the tide, splashing herself with cold water. She never puked, not even when she'd eaten God knew what in the Outback on her road trip. She walked back to Emily and Crow, shaking a bit. "Wow guys. I'm sorry..." she trailed off, her face returning a bit of color.

Skinner took off towards the ocean, splashing water on her face. Emily watched her intently. Something was up. Skinner didn't look so good. The girl came back. "Wow guys. I'm sorry..." she trailed off, her face returning a bit of color.
"Are you okay?" Emily asked, leaning forward a little. She was very concerned. Skinner had looked a bit sickly there for a moment. The only time Emily could remember something like that happening to her was when she had the stomach flu...and that had lasted at least a few days. Emily hadn't kept track of how long it had really been - that would've made it way worse.

"I...I'm good," Skinner replied to Emily, chewing her lip a bit.The strange thing was, she didn't feel so bad after, not like stomach flu. It was rather unexplainable. Or it could be...but no. Not that.
"I don't know. I never get sick. Maybe it's just this food? But...that makes no sense..." And it didn't. Even when she had backpacked in the outback and ate everything on God's creation nasty and disgusting with threats of worms and nasty parasites to her stomach, she held her bearings the whole time. No sense.

Emily still watched her with concern. "Well, airline food isn't exactly a five star meal," she commented. "Maybe it was the whole crash that set it off. A drop that bad from the sky is bound to mess you up in some sort." Emily's mind raced through a couple of ideas that could work. She compiled them and began to check them off the list mentally.

Skinnner chuckled. "Good point Em. Probably just...stupid airline food and the crash." Skinner chewed on her lip, trying to check of everything else from her list. But there was one possibility she couldn't check off. She slipped a hand to her stomach, and it was still flat as ever. With a slight little pudge, but that was just bloating right? She should be on her perido this week anyways, betting that the crash didn't set it off again.
"Any ways," she said softly, shaking ehr head and removing her hand.

"Anyways..."
Emily gave her a sympathetic smile, quickly thinking of any topic she could to fill the void of silence. "So, if you could pick some random, tropical location for us to have landed on, where would it be?" she blurted out. It was the first thing that came into her mind. After all, who wasn't wondering where they were at the present time? And she figured that Skinner wouldn't mind a distraction from the weirdness that had just occurred. Yes, it was random, but it worked, didn't it?
