The day had started out quite simple. Richard had made a trip to the Flame station to speak with Mikhail and get more information from him that he had gathered. He had spent most of the morning in the Flame station before heading back to the Barracks for a slightly more relaxing afternoon than usual. He hasn't had a chance to speak with Ben much lately and had some things he wanted to discuss about the tail section survivors they had kidnapped. Ever since they had been taken to the Hydra station, Richard no longer knew exactly what had happened to them or what Ben's plans were. He knew he should be well informed but lately he has been running around on other errands and hasn't had a chance for a proper conversation with Ben or Tom, who seemed to be put in charge in watching over the kidnapped survivors. He has heard bits and pieces from some of them in passing, but lately he has been busier with other issues that he had to resolve first.
Later that evening Richard took the boat with Danny and Colleen back to the smaller island; they had some things to finish at the station that night and he was hoping to have a word with Tom or whoever else was in charge that evening. It didn't take long for the boat to reach the island and have it tethered up securely so they could return later. Danny and Colleen accompanied Richard up to the station before disappearing towards the construction area where they were building the runway.
Richard watched them go before heading for the Hydra facility. He had visited there a few days ago when most of the kidnapped survivors had been held, although most of them had been unconscious. He wasn't sure of what their current state would be right now but assumed they were still being held in the buildings. He didn't bother to check the polar bear cages; they were rather small to accompany all of the survivors and he doubted any of them were kept there at this moment anymore anyway.

Richard hesitated only slightly before moving towards the doors of one of the buildings. Instead of spending the rest of the evening looking around the Hydra station, it would make much more sense to stop by the security system room so he would have access to the monitors of the island. From there he would be able to see what was going on and where.
There wasn't anyone around the entrance of the building; Richard found it quite empty and silent. At this time of the day there wasn't a lot happening-everyone was heading back to the Barracks unless they still had some duties to finish in the Hydra. Seeing that some lights were still left on in this building, Richard assumed someone was here. He headed for the security room, opening the door and stepping in.
It wasn't Ben or Tom at the monitors; it as Harper. She was leaned back in the chair with her feet up while she sipped her soda, looking quite at ease. Richard glanced to her before stepping further in the room, turning his attention to the monitors.
"Evening, Harper," he spoke, assuming she had seen him on one of the monitors but he didn't want to startle her if she hadn't. He scanned the monitors but saw nothing unusual. If anything, the island seemed quiet that night. Apart from the kidnapped survivors, there weren't many others on the island apart from Tom, Karl, Danny, Colleen and a few others.

Harper didn’t startle one bit when she heard someone open the door. She knew it was probably Alpert, but didn’t panic once so ever. She took her feet off the deck and spun the chair around. “Evening, Richard” She acknowledged as she took a bit of her sandwich. She waited till she was finished chewing to speak again, “What’s Up?” she asked.
She wondered why he was at Hydra to begin with. Harper was here because Linus instructed her to. She didn’t want to come, but decided it would be the best. She was almost tempted to kill Goodwin. She took a sip of her soda and turned her chair back to the monitors as she awaited a response from Alpert.
